Emanuel Housing in downtown Minneapolis was selected as the recipient of the 2018 Affordable Housing Design Award by AIA Minnesota and The McKnight Foundation. From the full press release: “The jury was struck by how the building combine both historic and new structures, with the new structure blending into the old without consuming it. They also noted the articulating facade and selective use of color, and the crisp design elements throughout.”

Three projects photographed by Farm Kid Studios were honored with IIDA-Northland FAB Awards. Stadium Village Flats, new student housing designed by The Opus Group and ESG Architects, won in the Residential / Housing category. In the Small Commercial category, BWBR was honored for its design of the 3M Global Design lab. Finally, ESG Architects’ design of the North Loop restaurant / bar, Borough and Parlour, was named top project in the Restaurant / Retail category. Congrats!
